Free Robotics Presentations for Schools

Do you want to inspire your students in robotics, programming and STEM education?

Robotics & AI Club of America is pleased to offer Free Interactive Robotics Presentations for Your Students!

These fun and hands-on robotics sessions will dramatically improve your students confidence and have them excited about learning robotics and technology. They'll be marveling at what THEY can achieve.

The Free Presentations that we offer are approx 1 hour in length, and are appropriate for students of all ages.

Presentation Agenda:

In each presentation, we'll help students understand the impact that robotics and AI are having on the workforce, and then we'll demonstrate what our humanoid robot can do.

Following that, students will have the opportunity to get hands-on, and program the robot. Over the next 45 minutes, students will:

Program the robot to wave
Program the robot to talk
Record their own voice and have the robot play back the recording while its waving
Program their robot to have a new name, and respond to their verbal commands
Program the robot to respond to kinesthetic input (from a wii remote). The students will raise their arm, and the robot will mimic the action
Program the robot to recognize a color and visually track it
Program the robot to recognize a student's face and greet them by name.

By the end of the presentation, everyone in the room will be confident that THEY can program the little humanoid robot to do all of these things... but it gets even better!

We'll show them a video of a life-sized humanoid robot. This video is very intimidating for most students and virtually nobody thinks they can program it, so we'll let them know that the big robot uses the exact same hardware and software as the little robot. The programming commands are identical.
