What is Robotics & AI Club? Robotics & AI Club’s mission is to prepare children for the future workplace through robotics and AI education. We do this through a network of local partners who provide robotics and AI education to children and young adults. Our programs are designed to work within a school setting as well as outside of traditional school models. This allows our partners maximum flexibility while also increasing their revenue opportunities. The core of our mission is to ultimately help as many children receive robotics and AI education as possible, and we do that through a range of programs and partnerships.
Is Robotics & AI Club a STEM education franchise? Robotics & AI Club of America achieves its mission by helping individuals and organizations deliver high quality robotics and AI education to children. We generally do this through a licensing agreement. In some circumstances, this can look similar to a franchise, whereby we offer a turnkey solution that includes everything a person would need to offer robotics and AI programs to children; robots, curriculum, training, business coaching, networking support, etc. It can even include a pre-built website, CRM software (Client Relationship Management), and AI marketing tools to assist our clients with building a successful business. In other circumstances it could be as simple as us providing the robots and curriculum to existing companies. We’re happy to work under either model, depending on what each individual needs to be successful. Our founder has taught and demonstrated robotics to more than 22,000 students in classrooms around the world. During his 12 years in the educational robotics industry, he’s run robotics summer camps, after-school programs, residencies and more. He’s also spoken with thousands of educators, and the strategies that bring are the culmination of all that experience. What products do you use in your courses? We have experience teaching with a wide range of robotics products, though there are some that we find to be more successful than others. If you already have robotics products, we may be able to help you have more success with the products you already have. If you’re looking to add new product, we’re happy to provide you with insight into which products might work best in your scenario. The short story is that we prefer to use the EZ-Robot platform for children older than 10 years old. EZ-Robot is exceptionally powerful, versatile, and easy to use. It’s so powerful that advanced users have built life-sized humanoid robots, while also being easy enough to use that virtually anyone can teach and learn robotics with EZ-Robot. We have trained high school graduates to teach our courses, and 4th graders can program advanced robot capabilities like speech recognition and vision tracking. The robots can even implement world-class artificial intelligence like ChatGPT. Perhaps most importantly, EZ-Robot engages magnitudes more students than competitor products. This brings two important benefits. Firstly, it allows us to help more children learn robotics and AI. Secondly, it’s also really great for business for our partners. EZ-Robot inspires the maximum number of children and the power of the platform allows our partners to remain engaged with those same children for an extended period of time.
Do we need to use your products or can we use our own robotics products? While we don’t require you to use the exact same hardware that we recommend, it is important to understand that many of our strategies and curriculum have been built around a specific set of products, and results can vary significantly based on the product that is being used. For this reason, we strongly recommend some base products. If you want to augment your programs with additional robotics products, that is 100% up to you.
Do you offer payment plans? In some scenarios, we may consider a growth plan or payment plan that would scale with a partner’s growth in their market. These scenarios are highly customized and would need to be discussed individually with each potential partner. Contact Us to book a meeting to learn more. Do you have rigid requirements for how each partner runs their programs? Generally speaking, the answer is “no”, it’s your business and you are free to manage it as you feel best suits your market and business goals. That said, if you are using the Robotics & AI Club of America brand and website, there would be some minimum parameters to ensure you are delivering a quality experience. 99% of our participants would recommend our programs to friends and family and we need to ensure that your programs meet our standard of excellence. It’s also worth remembering that we have more than a decade of experience in robotics education with more than 22,000 children. Our programs and strategies have been meticulously developed over thousands of hours of conversations with educators and working directly with students. We will make recommendations and share the strategies that have proven to be effective. Whether you choose to follow our recommendations closely or implement your own strategies is largely up to you.
